The theme for the summer 2010 sketchbook is Never After, featuring my take on several classic fairy tale characters. These aren't just run of the mill re-imagined or "twisted" versions. Imagine more of a "what happens next?" type scenario. Each character/piece has a story, and I've even included bits of those stories in character bios in the back of the book.
The book 8.5 x 11 in, 32 pages, full color. It features 11 full color, all-new illustrations of Never After characters, as well as 2 pages of bios. The remainder of the book is a sketchbook section with a few abandoned or unfinished Never After concepts, as well as lots of the regular cute girly sketches you've come to expect.
The book will be available at San Diego Comic Con at booth J7 July 21-25, or you can get it by pre-ordering here. Or if you're going to Comic Con, you can also pre-order to secure your copy for pick-up at the show.
The book is $20 plus $5 shipping. I'm not doing sketches this time, but I will sign them. Books will begin shipping in early August. (Place your order in the box on the sidebar)
