Got home late on Monday and slowly recovering. Still have a lot of catching up to do, so I'll make this brief.
I of course had a great time. My thanks to everyone who stopped by and said hello or picked up a book or a sketch. Special thanks to Tim Morrell (and John!) who took me and the Viper crew (Pat, Scott, Wes, Jim, and Tony) out to dinner on Saturday.
A special highlight for me was finally getting to meet Avery Brooks, my favorite Star Trek captain - Ben Sisko of Deep Space Nine. Couldn't be a nicer guy. He took a few minutes to laugh and joke around with me, Pat, Wes, and Scott and probably shook my hand 3 times before it was over. Hearing Captain Sisko himself shout out "Josh Howard!" is a memory I won't soon forget.
I also got to meet Nicole de Boer, who played Ezri Dax in DS9's final season. I always had a huge crush on her.
This was the coolest thing at the whole show.

I had a great time at the dinner, and hopefully we can do it again next year! Although next time Tim needs to stick to the original plan and let me pick up half. :D

Hey josh,
I had a blast. I cannot tell you how much fun i had hanging with the whole crew. I promise i will not stare !! haha.
Well monday when i got home i decided to end up in the hospital until today. (had a heart attack). I am doing ok now but i will be off for awhile. anyway Thanks so much for all the great deals and i will post some pix once i get everything framed.

Wow, I had no idea Avery Brooks was there. You are correct, Sisko is the best Captain and I think DS9 is not just the best Star Trek, but one of the best shows period.

Avery Brooks also rocked the house in The Big Hit--a rather foul-mouthed, but still fun action comedy(his line reading of "Give this man a gold star!" is worth the rental on it's own). Glad to see you had a ball.

Wow, man.. I had no idea Nicole de Boer was so freakin' HOT.. I mean, I knew, but I guess I'd forgotten.. o.O
