You might want to check out tonight's episode of CW's Beauty and the Geek. Back in July, several of my books were requested to be used in one of the show's challenges. As a follow up, the cast stopped by the Viper Comics booth at San Diego Comic Con for a brief chat. I'm not exactly sure what is going to be used in the actual episode, if any of it, but be on the look out!
**Update**
Just finished watching it. Caught a few quick glimpses of various Dead @ 17 issues, as well as a nice shot of Eve being opened up to the double page spread from issue 1. Also got to see a little bit of the Viper Comics booth, but I was always just out of frame. If anyone has any screencaps, please pass them along.
Black Harvest: I was just sent the script last week for the potential film. Very...interesting. Very different. No sci-fi, no UFOs, all supernatural. Daniel is an Iraq War verteran instead of a blogger. Zaya is pretty much intact, though. Suggested a couple of changes. Don't know if they'll be made, or even if that script will be used, but we'll see.
Lost Books of Eve: Where's issue 3? I'm told it's "on the way." Issue 4 is done, too. Just a matter of it getting into your hands. I'm just as, if not more, frustrated with the delays as everyone else. Which leads me to...
Dead @ 17: Three issues remain (5-7). At the rate this printing schedule is going, you won't see them until next year. Plus, Diamond is breathing down my neck threatening cancellation (and understandably so). So what's the solution? I'm going to make the final three issues available online for free, as they are completed, November through December/January. They won't see actual print until the trade paperback release (containing all 7 issues) in March. I know it's not the ideal situation, but I hope it will help make up for the delays.
- A few Dead and Clubbing pages are up on Ebay.
- I just finished illustrating a fun short story for Jason Martin's Super Real vs. The Movie Industry Special. Head on over to Jason's Blog for a preview and more info.

- News regarding Dead @ 17, Lost Books of Eve, and Black Harvest coming in Update #2...
I've been getting a lot of emails asking about my upcoming appearance at Fallcon in Minnesota. As you can see from the website, my name is listed as one of the guests in big bold letters.
Unfortunately, it's not happening. I wish I knew why, because I was really hoping to be there. I received an invitation several months ago but nothing ever materialized.
I apologize for the inconvenience.
